iPad Doesn't Know What It Wants To Be

Marco Arment, author of Instapaper and lead developer of Tumblr, has a terrific piece today about the iPad's evolving role. His take: Though it's been in development for years, and selling for one year through two versions, we (and Apple) still haven't found the sweet spot of purpose for the device. That we can see its huge potential is the key to its success to date.

Concise writing.
